About

OUR HISTORY

Nearly 40 years ago, Curtis Bach and Myron LaBar partnered to form Mile Hill Collision: an auto body repair and towing service built to go above and beyond for customers. From collision repairs to mechanical fixes, Curtis and Myron made a commitment to provide swift, thorough service—putting their all toward keeping their community safe.

It was only a matter of time before Mile Hill became Tunkhannock’s top shop, earning a reputation for offering top-quality mechanical and accident-related repairs at reasonable prices. With Curtis and Myron at the helm, you knew that your money, time, and safety mattered. That you would get more than friendly service—you’d be treated like family.

A LASTING LEGACY OF
EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP

A lot has changed over the decades, but some things stay the same. Among them, Curt and Myron’s commitment to treating customers like family. Until Myron’s passing in December of 2021, Bach and LaBar operated Mile Hill with integrity and care: making good on their promise to protect the safety of every driver who sought their services.

As of June 2022, Curt and Myron’s legacy lives on through a new set of owners, Kevin Hallock and Sean Steele: two Tunkhannock natives with decades of hands-on experience in the automotive industry, an ingrained passion for premium repairs, and a shared respect for Curt and Myron’s founding mission. With Kevin and Sean, Mile Hill still means quality, and Mile Hill still means family.

If you stop by today, there’s a chance you might see Curt under the hood, or on the phone in the back office. But through Kevin and Sean’s leadership, his and Myron’s legacy is always present—guiding the honest service, excellent workmanship, and top-notch repairs that will keep you safe for all the miles to come.
